INSPECTOR

Different application for surface inspection
Thanks to its highly modular configuration Inspector can be easily integrated into any production line. It is possible to configure the web width and the appropriate illumination for each different application.

Benefits
Inspector is used either to detect and classify defects or to improve the process and increase the productivity. When a defect is found, the operator is alerted and the type of defect is logged in order to provide a detailed report for each roll. Inspector ensures high levels of quality and offer the best solution for your production processes and converting operations maximizing yield, productivity, and quality.

Reel Report
Data about the controls, defects and any other and real time information on the ongoing production can be made available in form of reports or data file.
The reports with the analysis of the detected errors can be graphically or digitally printed, they can be filed and transferred to a host computer.
The Job Report offers the user a powerful tool for internal and external documentation of the quality of the print results. The report function creates a separate report for each inspected reel.

Transversal direction monitor (TD)
During production it is possible to overview the film quality of the inspected reel in the transversal direction. The graphic shows in real time the distribution of the defect on the transversal web direction.

Machine Direction monitor (MD)
During production it is possible to overview the film quality of the inspected reel in the web running direction. The graphic shows in real time the distribution of the defect on the web running direction.

Defect History
The Defect History Mode provides the operator with a detailed overview of all defects, which the system has detected during a job. After calling up Defect History Mode a graphical defect overview (Virtual Reel) appears, into which the system automatically enters every detected defect.

Flagger control
The signal output permits the controlling of an external web marking device (Flagger). The flagger is used, for instance, to mark faulty areas by placing adhesive labels on the web of material. A corresponding entry of the event is automatically generated in the job report for each marking.

Film and foil (PET, PP, PE and PVC)
Inspection systems integrated into blown film and flat film extruders, coating machines or into rewinding slitters. Typical defects are:
gels, inclusions, dimples, fisheyes, wrinkles, burn dots, bubbles, etc.

Paper
Inspection systems integrated in paper machines, coating machines and in paper processing. Typical defects are:
water marks, pin holes, dirt, oil spots, dockages, etc.

Nonwovens
Inspection systems installed into nonwovens lines.
Typical defects are:
thick areas, thin areas, fibres, clump, intrusions (dirt or insects), binder void, holes, oil spots.
